vekx — the discipline of the anomalous
A taxonomy-driven PE anomaly interpreter. A codex of malformedness, structure, and arcane geometry.
The discipline
vekx treats anomalous PE structures as a field of study, not a curiosity. It builds a taxonomy of malformedness, mapping how structure fails, bends, and mutates under hostile or accidental conditions.
The goal is not just detection, but interpretation: to understand what an anomaly implies about intent, tooling, and capability.
Taxonomy orbit
At the core of vekx is a set of orbiting anomaly classes — VRD, STI, LPM, EMD, AIL — each describing a distinct mode of structural deviation.
- VRD — variant relocation and displacement
- STI — section table irregularities
- LPM — layout and padding mutations
- EMD — entrypoint and metadata distortion
- AIL — alignment and image layout anomalies
The public release will include full documentation of each orbit, with examples, structures, and interpretive notes.
Status
This page is a teaser — a glimpse into the void. The discipline is under active construction. The sigil is only the first page of the codex.
